I’m looking for a new notebook, and I’ve added the Acer 8204 to the list of possible substitutes. If I choose for this alternative, the HD will be changed with a faster device.

A good review of new MacIntel…

My old notebook, a glorious Toshiba Satellite 5100-603 is dead! The graphic card is broken, and the warranty is expired; so I don’t tink to repair it, but I’m looking for a valid substitute.

The alternative are not many:

HP nw8240 series: this notebooks are very good from tech point of view; the screen have a very high resolution (I love it) and the HD is a fast 7200 rpm.

New MacIntel: in the net there are many news on it, there are availables from february so there aren’t many reviews, but it should be a valid choice. I’ve never had a MacOSX.

P.S. for now I’m using the IBM ThinkPad R50e from my company.

Ieri sera ho installato, su vivace consiglio di un collega che maledirò a vita (Stefano Luperto), WoW. Ho paura di farmi prendere la mano da questo gioco e di annientare la mia già poca vita sociale.

Negli ultimi giorni mi è tornata la voglia del gioco, grazie al consiglio di un’amico ho installato questo e mi sto divertendo come un matto a farmi qualche partita on-line, anche se arrivo sempre e miseramente ultimo

Nel blog di un mio collega (Luca Garulli) è stata messa una foto che mi ritrae sorridente accanto ad un portatile in fase di boot con installato Windows.

Ovviamente smentisco che il soggetto in questione sono io, probabilmente si tratta di un fotomontaggio.
