After some little problems with my MacBook Pro (like noise from hd and a terrible hot) yesterday and today I have some strange network shutdown, when it happends I can see
AppleYukon: error - Uncorrectable PCI Express error
in the console; the only thing that I can do is to restart the notebook, I’ve tried to restart only the services, but without success.
Looking on the net I’ve not found anything and I don’t know if it is a software or hardware problem.

I have the same problem — I have not been able to track down the cause.
I have my suspicions that it may be related to Parallels and how it configures network connectivity behind the scenes even when it’s not running. Do you have Parallels installed on your machine?

“AppleYukon” is actually the Ethernet chip.
I just had this very same error occur on my MacBook Pro Core Duo a few minutes ago – I pulled out the Ethernet cable and it reset itself, and once I plugged the Ethernet back in, it was fine again. The temperature of my MBPro had gotten up to 166°F which I’m sure wasn’t helping any …
